Another day in Yellowstone, and it started really early! Our wake-up call was at 4 AM today. Yes, you read that right – 4 AM! We were determined to get to Lamar Valley for the best chance to see some serious wildlife, and it paid off. We got some great photos of bison, elk, fox, and other creatures enjoying the quiet morning. There's nothing quite like seeing these majestic animals in their natural habitat as the sun comes up.

After our early morning adventure, we hit the trails and enjoyed a peaceful hike to Wraith Falls Trail. It was a beautiful walk through the forest, with the waterfall as a lovely reward at the end.

Then, it was time for another "WOW" moment: we visited the incredible Mammoth Hot Springs!

The terraced formations created by the mineral-rich water are absolutely surreal. It's like walking on another planet – truly a must-see in Yellowstone!

Later in the day, we stopped by the Yellowstone Camera Store. As a photographer, looking at all that camera gear is always fun – a little dangerous for the wallet, but fun nonetheless!

For supper, we found a gem called Connie's Restaurant and I decided to try their ribs. Let me tell you, they were fantastic! Just what we needed after a day of exploring.

We spent a good two hours searching for moose today, but unfortunately, no luck! Those elusive creatures managed to stay hidden. Maybe tomorrow?

Speaking of tomorrow, the weather is looking interesting! We're expecting a light snow overnight and rain throughout the day tomorrow. Given the forecast, we don't have anything concrete planned. We're just going to wait and see what the weather brings and figure out our adventure from there.

Sometimes the best days on the road are the unplanned ones!

Stay tuned to see what a snowy Yellowstone has in store for us!
