Wow, what a day! We left the Miles City KOA Journey this morning and made our way to Bear Canyon Campground in beautiful Bozeman, Montana, 280 miles. And let me tell you, the drive was absolutely incredible.
We spent a good portion of the day driving along the Yellowstone River, with stunning mountain ranges towering all around us. The landscape here is just breathtaking – endless green pastures giving way to peaks that still have snow caps! It's truly a sight to behold.
Of course, a road trip means stocking up! We made a stop at Sam's Club in Billings to grab some food supplies. While we were there, we had our very first taste of Taco John's, and let me tell you, those tacos were great! A perfect quick bite to keep us going.
For supper tonight, we found a fantastic local spot called Montana Ale Works. I decided to be adventurous and had my very first bison burger – and it hit the spot! So delicious and a perfect taste of Montana.
Get ready for some serious adventure tomorrow! We're leaving the RV at Bear Canyon and heading out bright and early in the Jeep to make our way to Glacier National Park! We're so excited to drive the famous Going-to-the-Sun Road. We'll be getting a hotel for the night near Glacier, and then it's back to the RV at Bear Canyon Campground before our next big adventure: Yellowstone National Park!
We're really checking off those National Parks and adding more states to our map this trip. The views out West are simply stunning, and we feel so lucky to be experiencing them.
Stay tuned for our Glacier adventure!
