What a day, team! We said goodbye to the buffalo at Frontier Fort Campground in North Dakota this morning and hit the road for another big drive. We covered 384 miles in the RV and officially added another new state to our list: Montana! We pulled into the KOA in Miles City for the night.

The drive today was incredibly scenic. We saw so many beautiful ponds, lakes, and rivers along the way. Montana truly is Big Sky Country, and the landscape is just stunning.

Our first big stop was super fun, we visited Salem Sue (our last stop in North Dakota), the world's largest Holstein cow! She's quite a sight to behold and definitely worth the detour for a photo op.

Then it was on to some truly breathtaking nature.

Our big stops in Montana today were at Painted Canyon and then driving right through Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Wow, what an incredible place! We saw tons of Prairie Dogs (Val's favorite!), lots of Bison roaming free, and some other amazing wildlife too. The landscapes in the Badlands are just breathtaking.

After all that driving and exploring, we were ready for a feast. We had supper at the Black Iron Grill, and let me tell you, the steak was absolutely perfect!

Tomorrow, we're continuing our Montana adventure and heading to Bozeman. Can't wait to see what that part of the state has in store for us!

Stay tuned for more updates from our cross-country journey!
