It was a bittersweet morning as we packed up camp for the last time at Red Rock RV Park in Island Park. We've loved our time there, exploring Yellowstone and the Tetons! But, the road called, and we were off to our next exciting destination: Cody, Wyoming!

We pulled into the Cody KOA, got the RV all set up, and then our stomachs started rumbling. We decided to treat ourselves to a classic Western meal and headed straight for the Cody Steakhouse. And let me tell you, the steak was cooked to perfection – exactly what we needed after a day on the road!

But the real highlight of the day came after supper: the Cody Nite Rodeo! WOW, what a show! We were lucky enough to snag front-row viewing, which meant we were right in the thick of the action. I was snapping photos like crazy, trying to capture all the excitement. Those cowboys and cowgirls are incredibly talented and brave; they put on a show to remember with all the bull riding, barrel racing, and bronc riding. It was pure, authentic Western entertainment and an absolute blast!

Tomorrow, we're planning some scenic drives around Cody and more exploring. We can't wait to see what else this area has in store for us!

Have you ever been to a rodeo? What was your favorite part? Let us know!
