What a day back in Yellowstone! We started off bright and early this morning, making our way straight to the one and only Old Faithful. We snagged a fantastic front-row view for the show, and it was absolutely spectacular! There’s just something about seeing that powerful eruption.
We then spent a good chunk of the day wandering through Yellowstone, exploring various geyser basins and soaking in all the incredible thermal features. The landscapes here are just so unique, everywhere you look is something new. We also made the full loop around Yellowstone Lake, enjoying the expansive views of the water against the backdrop of the park's wilderness.
Today was a huge success for wildlife spotting! We added some exciting new animals to our list: a majestic Eagle, a Mountain Goat bathing in the sun, and the highlight – a bear with her two adorable cubs! Seeing the little ones follow their mom and play was a great treat.
After a full day of exploring, we headed back to West Yellowstone for supper. We tried out Canyon Street Grill, and that bacon smash burger was exactly what I needed. And the peanut butter milkshake? Absolute perfection! It really hit the spot after all the walking and driving.
We're still based at Red Rock RV Park, and Yellowstone continues to amaze us.
Stay tuned for more adventures from this incredible part of the world!
